I Need You; Save Me from Myself

Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Why do I feel so unlovable? God has poured out His everything for me, a sinner, and yet I convince myself time and time again that God doesn't love me. How could anyone love me? I don't deserve love.

I want to be loved so badly. Why do I resist God's love? Why do I search for this love in the wrong places? Why do I chase after the wind? Why do I cling to the familiar instead of what is True?

Lord, free me from my chains. Help me to renew my mind and to find strength in Your everlasting arms of grace. You are so far beyond me. You quench my soul. Help me to surrender my fears and anxieties. Help me to fall on my face before You and give You my everything.
